UNVEILING DEPTH. CHALLENGING PERCEPTION.

THE PSYCHODRAMA OF THE PSYCHEDELIC TRIP.

THE PSYCHODRAMA OF THE PSYCHEDELIC TRIP.

What is the power that lies in the contents of a natural, space time shifting medicinally tailored substance like psilocybin mushroom? Why does it grant human beings experiences that alter the individuals mind, once and for all immediately after it has passed through the blood?

To start, I want to make you aware that I have had my fair share of trips, both on LSD and psilocybin.

For this post, I want to delve into the manifestations of the substance, its workings and the processes of its workings on the individual.

Questions such as : what happens to us as we hallucinate things that are specific and unique to our own personality and psyche? What are the literal things that literally take place during this process and how do they cause a change within our psyche?

Foremost, I want to steer your attention to the body experience they takes place. We know that there are bad trips and we know that there are good trips.

Both of these gradings have much in common, one of them is that it is a fact that the individual is undertaking a certain experience, that whatever is happening to his biology, psychology and material environment is actually taking place, wether that it is all in 'his head' is not something that is worthwhile when looking at the specifics of this experience. Now, the trip. What happens? Bright colours, patterns on the wall, senses of euphoria, slight anxiety, nervousness, peace, relaxation, calmness.

These are mere descriptions of sensations and feelings about the situation, they are not what is happening to the individual across time. Let me demonstrate an angle that we should look at to gaze into with hope at unraveling a wider more simpler understanding of this experience.

People often say "that trip changed my life" "I learnt so much about myself" and "I wanted to connect deeper with myself."

The individual consumes the psychedelic their body begins to digest it they then begin to fall into its affects and for several hours they undergo this journey through perception by hallucinatory evolution. In short they move through this esoteric realm using their bodies as the vechile and the transport. In this regard, the trip is a metaphor of the human condition, simply because it is the reality for any human being on earth. Now, as one passes through the trip they encounter time and time again revelations, they begin to understand their thoughts in the deepest sense with simplicity and clarity, they further encounter negative thoughts that they have fought long and hard with and turned from, now they engage with them in their bodies, a sort of psyche cleansing. The substance in this regard, pushes them to their truth, it delivers them to their own power and forces them to commit to the process.

In as so far as if the individual was poisoned with a deep social anxiety, fear of intimacy, fear of accepting themselves they will surely encounter this on their own with themselves and alone at all costs. This moment will be challenging and the individual will in good faith and with a hopeful sucession be able to transverse through certain stages, accepting and release at the end.

This process through stages manifests through facial expression and body movements. The face goes through the immediate expressions required, and tailored to the individuals psyche connection to the fear they have avoided. Meaning, they are likely to cry, or be fearful but comfortable in the process and move their limbs and facial expressions as ways of adapting and becoming free from this issue they have.

In this regard, liberation happens through the finalising expression of the limbs and facial expressions.

We are mimes of our imagination

Say, when you grow from a traumatic event, what is the identity of this growth? If you scale a mountain range in extreme conditions the consistent pain one endures gets expressed through the commitment to expressing the body through these tough times.

One feels the agony, one expresses it though adapting with their facial expressions, their leg movements and their body movements. It's as if one commits to the path ahead and goes through it using their body to pass through it, these muscles, fibers and the pressure in the body gets expressed and this is growth. The pain one feels, becomes harsh facial expressions, and when one has completed the task the face and body become relaxed, altered and changed. These regulations of emotions are the completions of the takes.

Similarly, on a psychedelic trip, one undergoes transformation from adapting their limbs to the esoteric world within, and not the external world.

Inside is truth, inside is the only truth.

Everything is only the internal in these circumstances, and this is why crying on a trip to a scary or intimidating revelation about oneself or something is considered healing and accepting.

The truth here is that the body is the medium for the only existing world, that world which is within the body. The external world is nothing important; it is a thing that supports us physically as we pass through the inner truthful world.
