Objective Reality And Narcissism
Cult leaders thrive on pride and delusion, yet true growth emerges from humility. Our games of status risk trapping us in false realities divorced from God.
In times of great doubt and lack of belief, the rise of cult leaders will become inevitable. These people, not necessarily good or bad at first, can so easily taper off to the side of bad through inflation of their egos due to repeated admiration and supply from their followers. For a cult leader to remain humble, or anyone, for that matter, they must possess a true relationship with an image that parallels a function of death and rebirth; for many, that is usually Jesus.
The problem here is, is when the Christ sweeps away the old personality, cleansing it with his grace, the person is left humbled, and no longer feels worthy to be a cult leader anymore. And so is the reason cult leaders do not themselves have any true relationship with the god image, as this humbling effect runs counter to the drug of pride that they are really chasing.
In my previous essays, I relate Satanic archetypes commonly to what I call The Box, or, The Black Cube. A soul will remain trapped inside its own box of non growth for however long It remains contained by its own pride and connection to Earthly things. It is only when this line is severed, can it truly continue to grow out of humility. Growth cannot happen when captured by a prideful box, because how can someone who knows everything possibly learn anything new?
I must stress, that everything that can be experienced has some place on earth, and some truth in the kingdom of heaven. Pride and narcissism exist, so how can I say they are inherently bad? Surely they would not survive as traits through an extended period if they were always and purely Evil? The truth is, they do have a place, as Carl Jung once said:
“It will be good for your humility if you can accept the gifts of your unconscious guide that dwells in yourself, and it is good for your pride to humiliate itself to such an extent that you can accept what you receive.”
“Through pride we are ever deceiving ourselves. But deep down below the surface of the average conscience a still, small voice says to us, something is out of tune.”
The paradoxical duality here is ever present. To ignore the gift of pride completely means to inhibit the feeling as if it never existed, to acknowledge its existence, and to realise its tune, means to take aboard the fruits, and gracefully move on without overindulging, and here is where we face a choice. The man who worships pride, will ever dwell on it like a drug, chasing for more and more. Whilst the man of grace, will accept the fruit, but not dwell, as he knows more work must be done. We may feel great joy after gaining success in competition of achievement, and confidence will be well deserved, but to be captured by the earthly fruits is a sure way to fall from grace.
It must also be said, that the attitude towards people’s narcissism or pride tends to be to the tune of its delusion. If we take two examples – Alexander the Great, and a 25-year-old male who works in a video game shop, and lives with his parents. Both believe they are gods, and both believe they are innately gifted with leadership, and both believe they will be remembered for centuries to come. Let me ask you, which one of these examples would annoy you more? Obviously, the young deluded man would, as it is out of touch with reality to a much greater extent. Alexander the Great talked the talk, believed he was a man of divinity and had a sacred destiny, and the reality of what he achieved makes it hard to argue that he was delusional.
The truth is, Alexander the Great likely was a narcissist, yet his vigour, bravery, and downright fearless attitude on the battlefield most likely stemmed at least somewhat from this narcissism and undying self-belief and lack of self-doubt. It could even be said that the reason he won all his battles was partly because of his own belief that he had a divine purpose; and how could he not? He was told by the Oracle of the desert that he was the son of Zeus, and then the Egyptian people themselves began to worship him as a god.
Alexander the Great, then, Is a very interesting case study when discussing matters of pride. One thing that must be asked, is how would his attitudes of changed if he lived for longer? Pride and arrogance are like short bursts of grace, that inevitably lead to falls. Alexander only lived until the age of 32, and those 32 years were of course filled with much grace. His self-belief and pride did him well in his life, they served their purpose; yet, as he aged, and things grew peaceful, how could he maintain his image of greatness if there were no longer any lands to conquer?
His choice then would either be to hang on to his feelings of pride, by means of finding more land to conquer, to carry on proving to himself and to his people that he was truly still great, and truly divine; or by overcompensating, by showing an excessive use of power to put the people in their place, as is the trick of all tyrants. Or, he of course submits his pride to his humility and accepts his time has passed. The truth here will never be known, the leader he was in his youth served its purpose, and the ruler he would become in his later years, and how his narcissism would of served him, will never truly be known.
Let us now focus back to the modern day. It is clear that life is a set of games, with each game being a struggle for status. Within each game, the objective is to start at the bottom, and work up the ranks of the game to achieve higher and higher status among the hierarchy. The higher you climb up the game, the greater the fruits. As soon as we enter a game, our brains immediately understand what’s going on, and seek to look up. All games are addictive, but not all games carry much meaning.
The games of a society can either be based in delusion, or greater value. Let us compare two examples of games, The game of doctors – The game here being to provide as much value to saving lives. Compared to a video game, the game here being here to level up your character and endeavor virtual quests that simulate real life or otherwise. The similarities of these games is they both stimulate the game-playing pathways of reward and punishment, success and failure, with some games even mimicking transcendental lore and prophecy.
Yet, the massive difference is one game is a matrix, it is a game of the box, that traps one’s attention within a false paradigm that carries ultimately no greater meaning to one’s life or others. The video game, then, is a womb, an archetypal mother, a safe space that replicates real life but is not real life, it is, a matrix – A simulated reality. The word Matrix itself has Latin origin, originally coming from Mater/Matr (Mother) Then shifting more precisely to Matrix (Breeding female) and then in late middle English beginning to mean more literally Womb.
It is no doubt then, as I have previously written about in multiple previous essays, that life is becoming more and more aligned with Mater – Mother, than it is Pattern – Pater – Father (Latin progression of father – Pater = Father). It seems very peculiar to me that many see chaotic matter, with no clear pattern of order as paramount and incontestable. Do they not realise the rejection and alignment of their own soul? For if we reject the patterns of reality, the paternal attitude, then what we are actually doing, is rejecting the great Pattern himself, that being the great Father, God. He is the greatest order of them all, the greatest pattern of them all. What seems to be happening, is our society is so desperate to ignore objective reality, and objective patterns, that we have consciously chosen and been deceived to instead trap ourselves in matrixes.
It is in these simulated realities that we continue to stimulate a basic sense of faux meaning, that being games with no true purpose. Tik Tok captures the imagination of our youth, expressing their life force through dances as the minutes Tik Tok by, and their souls are converted into prideful fame, their attitudes begging for more and more status, as more minutes go by, and more admiration is thrown their way. This is the greatest modern form of matrix. This is a virtual serpent that encourages the eating of its own tail, a game that encourages more playing, but never allowing the player to turn its head up and see the patterns around them.
The greatest trick a tyrant can play on its people, is to prevent them from seeing the other patterns that exist outside their own created Matrix. It is no wonder that the current government-industrial complex wishes to seek control over objective reality; if they themselves can define objective reality, and have that worshipped as fact, then they themselves become the Demi gods of the matrix, as our eyes have been cut off from the Pater outside the matrix.
It would come as no surprise to me that this war of matrix faux reality and our connection to the realities greater fundamental patterns of father, have been actually going on since time began, it would also not surprise me if this great evil continues to make more and more matrixes to try and bury us within deeper and deeper layers of lies, trying to throw us off the scent of God more and more, ad infinitum.
Yes, this is the simulation theory many talk of. The paradoxical truth is though, the more matrixes that are incepted inside of matrixes will ultimately have no effect on weakening our connection to the great Pater outside of all Matrixes. For the Matrix itself is embedded in God’s own way, and so everything within these faux games, is still all of the Pater, as he is of course the origin and fountainhead.
Pride may so easily come within an earthly-sized game, but when that person if for a moment steps out of his beloved game, and takes a look around to see how much more there is, he will have no choice but be humbled by the greatness of God. It is of no surprise then, that when someone tries to make an earthly game the only game, that they are attempting to hijack our consciousness with something that replaces the great God, with themselves instead, as a lesser God, who we perceive as the only God we know.
This is the power of games – They seize our attention.
And everybody knows what happens if you play stupid games . . .
You win stupid prizes . . .
Have you not noticed? What some value now above all, is how many followers they have on social media? Is it not now that they too wish to be a cult leader? Or maybe even a god . . . They set a tone, a precedent, a way of life, and the followers and disciples are encouraged to follow as best as they can. Many cult leaders will make individuals feel weak, stupid, or inferior to them, displaying that after their help can they grow into someone strong, powerful, rich, beautiful, or whatever it is that they themselves display so abundantly.
The reality here, is this can sometimes be the case, but sometimes be delusion. The line between leadership and Manipulation is thin, a leader will remain humble in the respect they command, and not take advantage of the people who look up to them, they lead in a goal to generally wish the best upon those who follow them. A manipulator will take advantage of those people, bathe in their own pride, and seek base and even satisfaction in degrading those who follow them, or maybe they wish to exploit them merely for money or power. A cult is always a micro game, and much of the time a game requires a rite of passage, a sacrifice. Sometimes this is money, sometimes this is pain, sometimes humiliation,
As I said, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
So choose your game wisely.
